Of course, if you're going to have an all-white basketball league, there needs to be a team in the town that is home to the Masters. The All-American Basketball Alliance,or as insiders are calling it, the AABA, hopes to begin its first season in June with 12 franchises, including one in Augusta Georgia. No Fuzzy Zoeller is not commissioner of this league. That honor goes to boxing promoter Don "Moose" Lewis, who insists he is not a racist, and there's nothing hatred about his league. Lewis says ''I don't hate anyone of color. But people of white, American-born citizens are in the minority now. Here's a league for white players to play fundamental basketball, which they like."

While the white players may prefer a fundamental game, most NBA arenas are filled with white fans who enjoy basketball played by the greatest athletes on the planet. Despite that simple fact, Lewis says his league will emphasize fundamental basketball instead of "street-ball" played by "people of color." While college basketball has Coach K, the AABA will have Coach KKK. And sorry Washington, you're going to have to give up the moniker of your NBA franchise to this upstart league. The only question is, who will own the team and become its Grand Wizard? Lewis uses words that must make David Duke proud, such as; ''Would you want to go to the game and worry about a player flipping you off or attacking you in the stands or grabbing their crotch?" Nice job Moose, you have laid the foundation for a league that will send sports back 100 years. Your ''fundamental'' league is a slam dunk to fail. Now, you and your fellow cape crusaders, go home!
