From Worst to First

Now that we are just about half way through the NFL season, it is time to look at how teams are doing compared to last season. Of course the Vikings and the Cowboys are brought up because of their terrible records. But what about the teams that are making heads turn because they're winning. The first team that comes to mind is the Rams, a team that won only one game last year. The first two weeks of the season, they looked like the same Rams, but by week three they had matched last seasons win total, and by week four, they had surpassed it. Now the Rams are 4-4 and leaders of the NFC West division.
The Oakland Raiders are another team turning heads. Their win on Sunday over division leader Kansas City puts them a half game out of first place in the AFC West. Although we're only half way through the season, it helps show what the rest of the season could bring us. And, with two teams already making drastic improvements, whose to say they won't continue their winning ways and make a run for the playoffs?
