About the team:::::
Ken Thomson is a veteran sportscaster of more than 25 years. In addition to his expertise in all major sports, he provides versatility with his extensive knowledge and memory and covers it all; from baseball, football, basketball & hockey to World class soccer, tennis, golf, etc.
Ken also worked in the NCAA college basketball world, calling games for UC Riverside and Long Beach State. He has hosted sports talk radio shows throughout the country and remains well connected to NCAA teams. Ken also knows many college coaches and the broadcaster for over 50 universities nationwide.
For over four years, Thomson worked with former NFL veteran Bob Golic in several Southern California markets. Ken tries to set up interviews each week that are in tune with what's going on that week in the world of sports. The reason Thomson gets a lot of the guys that call games for a living as guests on the show, is simple, " They not only know their team inside out, they also know the opponents to the "T" as well. Interviews just flow with Ken's strong background in play by play in baseball, basketball and football, the transition to sports talk radio was easy. Ken's first sports-casting job was in the US Navy, aboard an Aircraft Carrier (USS Ranger CV 61 ). With 5.500 sailors on board and no internet back in the eighties, I was the only guy with the scores when out at sea, thousands of miles away from the states. Ken lines up guests for each show from all sports and produces the show as well.
Thomson is excited for the new show, set to air August 15th 2011, on the Sports Byline USA Network. One of the great things about this network is it hits Armed Forces Radio. Knowing I'll air for the soldiers worldwide is an honor and a great motivator to keep the show fresh and "live" for our heroes around the world. The second show is on 50,000 watt KDWN out of Las Vegas and blares in to 13 states. Thomson always keeps people updated on all games that are going on or recently concluded. Then I get them ready for the next days action!
Our Friday night shows are Thomson's favorites. His partner for over seven years, Chuck Edel, break down all the games for the weekend. Football season is the best and somehow they are able to touch on every game, both College & Pro in scheduling order. With the show originating in Vegas, the show blends top line interviews and sports information with a slight dash of Las Vegas line flavor, courtesy of my main sponsor, Cantor Gaming. Not only does Thomson enjoy the Sports World as far as getting out the facts and up to the minute information but he has always enjoyed the handicapping angle as well.
He feels he is someone who can scout games and get a solid feel of how the game will turn out. College Basketball and College Football are his two favorite sports along with the NFL. I like baseball, and hockey as well. The NBA is such a different game now as opposed to when I was growing up. It is too much one on one, clear out for this star. You rarely see guys move their butts without the ball unless it is in transition on a fast break. That irritates Ken. He had a solid run in the Las Vegas Review Journal last year, as far as handicapping by hitting 14 games in a row against the Vegas line, a record still standing. He will go up against anyone in College Hoops as he feels he has an edge by being around the game since he was six years old.
His favorite teams are the Colts and Giants in the NFL (Baltimore beat Green Bay when he was 7 years old and he has followed the Horse Shoe, and he grew up in North Jersey so he rooted for several New York teams that his dad handed down to him when he was a kid ( Knicks, NY Rangers, NY Mets ). The Yanks are enemy number one as he had a dad from Brooklyn who was a Dodger die-hard and was tormented by the Bronx Bombers as a kid.
USC is his college football team as he watched them beat UCLA when I was seven years old from the barber seat chair after dad's Ohio State Buckeyes beat Michigan. He told pops later on, he knew he was only a kid but he knew good looking women and sunshine when he saw it....needless to say that was a typical crappy, rainy November Jersey day! He enjoys talking sports and my newest passion is the UFC....he loves it...it grows on you....!!! Please e-mail him if there are things you like or dislike about the show.
He will always keep his listeners updated on current scores and sports headlines and digs deep to find those sports stories of compassion. He loves doing things for charity, and has a strong faith in GOD, first. and foremost and he tries to hand down wisdom from the screw ups in his own life to his audience, so he can save them the heartaches he's been through. Ken is transparent, not proud of the mistakes he's made, but if he can save others the same pain, by handing down that wisdom, then his efforts are not in vain.

His interview subjects included prominent casino owners Bill Boyd and Steve Wynn, professional gamblers Billy Walters and Andy Beyer, and world class athletes Sugar Ray Leonard and Laffit Pincay, Jr.
Kelly also served as host of "Leroy's Sports Hour," a one-hour radio program dedicated to sports betting. For three years, Kelly teamed with legendary bookmaker Jimmy Vaccaro to produce an award-winning program heard on both Fox Sports Radio 920 (Las Vegas) and ESPN Radio 630 (Reno).

Lance Pry
It doesn’t matter to Lance, playing a Radio Personality, DJ, Program Director, News Director, Production Director, Promotions Assistant, Operations Manager, as long as he still gets to play in your Radio.

Intern
Richard the Intern is a graduate of the University of Colorado. He loves sports, but he loves cats a lot more. Segments with Richard might stray from the upcoming Buckeyes/Wolverines matchup to which cat would look better in a sweater vest - the Domestic Shorthair or a Calico? Ken occasionally has Richard give his 2 cents on air; which is generally a good thing for handicapping the games. Richard knows a lot about the advanced math and metrics behind just about every sport. However, Richard makes sports as exciting as doing your taxes, so grab a pencil.
